For the last couple of years the saludaboyz have been taking an annual trip to the Ottawa River to attend the Jimicup. The drive to the Ottawa is a long one, 17hrs.
We decided to make a pit stop in Massachusetts for a couple of days to paddle on the Deerfield River. The Fifebrook section of the Deerfield is home to a world class squirt seam (CJ's) and world class scenery. Managed two days at CJ's and a run down the Dryway section of the Deerfield.
While at CJ's, Saludaboyz team rider McGreevey logged his first 30+ mystery move on the clock!

After two days we loaded back up in the truck and headed north for Canada. We took a mid day stop in Watertown, NY to get a quick paddle on the Black River. Super fun mini gorge that runs right through town. Check it out if you are in the area.
Soon after crossing the boarder we were treated to a splendid sunset that seemed to go on for forever.
Made to it to the Ottawa!
The next five days were filled with naps, squirt boating, surfing, cartwheeling, raft surfing, more squirt boating and raccoon hunting.

Nice. Travel safe, eh?
Almost nobody dances sober, unless they happen to be insane.
