And since we are talking about racks........yakima that is.....anyone got some long crossbars for sale......78 inches (so many jokes......must resist)

Reaaaallllllyyy old Yakima racks did have suction cup feet on what we now call "towers" - I think they had a strap with a clip that went to the door frame, though, too. That was back when the bars were gold colored - anodized aluminum, maybe? That's even more old school than long boats.
